Mary Kay Babyak

Mary Kay Babyak has been The Consortium for Public Education (TCFPE)’s Executive Director since 2016. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Director of Programs & Organization, where she led key initiatives and organizational strategy. Recently, she spearheaded a pilot program to improve career education in school districts. She also oversaw The Consortium’s Forum for Collaborative Leadership & Innovation, focusing on personalization and led the MAPS initiative for post-secondary planning. Before joining The Consortium, she worked with the APEX Consortium and the Council for Basic Education. The TCFPE served as an anchor for Remake Learning Days and partnered with Remake Learning through The Future Is Mine (TFIM) and Hear Me! initiatives, emphasizing student voice in partnering districts. TCFPE also actively engaged in the Digital Badging initiative, collaborating with various community partners to Remake Learning in the region.
