Lauren Spinabelli

Lauren Spinabelli is an educator and writer in Pittsburgh. She has a BA and MA in English from Penn State University where she completed her thesis in creative writing. She previously worked in Brooklyn, New York as a tenth grade English language arts teacher for five years. Prior to that, she spent two years as an early childhood art enrichment teacher. She has taught or worked with children from ages 0-17 and is passionate about maker learning, productive struggle, film photography, and building positive classroom culture.
