Our friends at Arts Education Collaborative invite you to attend the 2011 Regional Arts Education Day on Monday, October 10th.

In the words of the Arts Education Collaborative:

Regional Arts Education Day 2011 will provide an opportunity for educators, administrators, artists, cultural organizations, and policy makers in Southwestern Pennsylvania to come together in order to gain a better understanding of how the arts and sciences are critical components of a comprehensive education.

The 2011 Keynote Speaker is Dr. Mae Jemison, a doctor, engineer, academic, entrepreneur, dancer, and former NASA astronaut.

Celebrating its 10th year in 2011, the Regional Arts Education Day will be held on Monday, October 10th from 9:00AM to 4:00PM at South Fayette High School, 3680 Old Oakdale Road, McDonald PA, 15057.
