Making Sparks is Spark’s unique forum exploring how technology and innovation can transform the lives of young children in our region. It will also kick off the 2009 Super Spark funding round, Spark’s annual funding program awarding grants of up to $50,000 to collaborative projects impacting young children through technology and media – focusing this year on play in all its forms. The event will run from 4:00-8:00pm at the Heinz History Center.
At Making Sparks, you will have a chance to:
- Participate in interactive brainstorming sessions and panel discussions featuring experts in technology, play, education, and early childhood development.
- Connect with innovators and stakeholders to expand your network into the worlds of technology, arts, education, media and more.
- Develop your ideas for projects in collaborative ideation sessions and learn how you can apply for a Super Spark.
