Youth Engaged in Service is a program of Pittsburgh Cares that connects youth under the age of 18 and families to volunteer opportunities, service learning and leadership development experiences.

Youth Engaged in Service (YES, as we like to call it!) is a program of Pittsburgh Cares that connects youth under the age of 18 and families to volunteer opportunities, service learning and leadership development experiences. YES creates positive social and personal change by empowering youth and families with opportunities to make a difference.

By partnering with teachers, parents, schools, individual youth, youth groups, and community organizations, and our national office, Youth Engaged in Service gives youth the opportunity to see firsthand the issues in their schools and communities and the tools and resources they need to respond and become part of the solution.
