Create, connect, achieve. The Lighthouse Project is a safe and exciting place for teens to explore their interests in music production, filmmaking, graphic design, photography, fashion design, visual arts and more.

In the Fall of 2016, the YMCA Lighthouse relocated to a newly renovated state-of-the-art teen media center in the Homewood Brushton YMCA Creative Youth Center. The new facility is comprised of a recording studio, digital music lab, photovideo space, learning lab and performance space. In each of our digital arts programs qualified teaching artists empower young people to find their creative voice while building technical and transferable skills that position them for success after high school. Youth receive multiple opportunities to perform and showcase their work throughout the city of Pittsburgh.

The Lighthouse Project is open to all teens ages 13-18.
