Pittsburgh Filmmakers’ Youth Media Program helps kids develop digital literacy skills to express themselves through media.

Pittsburgh Filmmakers’ Youth Media Program gives kids the technology and knowledge to express themselves in a variety of visual mediums. From super 8 film cameras to new animation and film editing software, children learn how to use tools of the trade to create quality photography, movies, and animations. Along the way, Pittsburgh Filmmakers teaches the students the history of photography and filmmaking, exposes them to media outside of Hollywood, and challenges them to think critically about the media they consume on a daily basis.
