Capture digital images and video to build stories that bring the past to life.
Capture digital images and video to build stories that bring the past to life.

Tell stories from Pittsburgh’s past your way, in your voice, through new media. Uncover images and objects to create a digital story that brings them to life for visitors.

Create vibrant multimedia stories about people and places in Pittsburgh history. These digital projects will illuminate objects and stories within the History Center’s archival and museum collection. Participants will explore museum exhibits and collections in an engaging new way that allows them to curate our collection in a voice all their own. The digital storytelling process promotes skills for historic inquiry, story development, and multimedia editing.

This program is part of Pittsburgh City of Learning, an initiative of The Sprout Fund. Learn more at the launch event on June 10th.
