Teaching girls about STEM futures and careers at The Ellis School

Girls Bridging Communities™ believes that education is a tool that should be shared between an individual and their community in order to provide growth and success within that community. We allow the girls to teach themselves through interactive group projects. These projects allow each girl to work in small groups and to explore various leadership positions. We also celebrate the use of connected learning within our project. Girls are taught the foundations of robotics by students of a slightly older age. These older students refine their knowledge in robotics and their own leadership skills while they inspire the younger generation to achieve.

We pride our selves in making our program free so that socioeconomic background has no influence on a students ability to attend our camp. Students are given educational resources, lunches, snacks, field trips, and a way to apply their knowledge and inspire their peers to learn more about STEM programs.
