Student working in the Avonworth 21st Century Collaboration Center

Teaching today’s education with tomorrow’s tools, in a collaborative space that allows for creative thinking and presentation.

Located in the Avonworth School District’s high school/middle school library, the 21st Century Collaboration Center features a dedicated videoconferencing/presentation space, a makeshop with programming in conjunction with the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, a number of digital learning spaces, and an area for large group instruction and brainstorming.

The space is dedicated to providing real-world experiences through project-based learning, as well as be a resource for college and career readiness. Made possible through a grant from the Grable Foundation and assistance from MAYA Design, The 21st Century Collaboration Center brings learning into the future at Avonworth School District.
