Dedicated to social justice and systemic change, Erica is pleased to work for the YWCA Greater Pittsburgh.

Erica Renfro has a strong background in STEM education, curriculum development, and out-of-school time education. She has a great deal of experience recruiting organizations to participate in free programming for girls as well as in building lasting relationships with community based organizations. She has cultivated great relationships with public schools in Green County, Pittsburgh Public Schools, and the Woodland Hills School District and looks forward to building new connections in the future.

She is familiar with project management. By creating comprehensive action plans and schedules she ensures targeted goals for volunteer and student recruitment are met.

Erica received her Bachelor’s Degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania majoring in Spanish and with minors in Economics and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. Erica is a proud to be in the company of both Barack and Michelle Obama as an alumnus of AmeriCorps’ Public Allies Program.
