Urban experience, community-based learning, context and content

Teresa works to strengthen Green Building Alliance’s relationships with PreK-12 educators and students across the Pittsburgh region, fostering innovative projects that provide experiential learning opportunities with real-world sustainability issues. She designs innovative learning experiences for educators and students to complement GBA existing programs, including enhancing the School Sustainability Culture Program, building upon early work with concepts like the Environmental Health Clinic and Design Thinking Lab, and creating new programs and partnerships.

Previously, Teresa worked with The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, The CREATE Lab at Carnegie Mellon University, The Sprout Fund, Remake Learning Network, and Winchester Thurston School.

Teresa holds a Master of Arts in American History from Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Saint Vincent College.
