Origami Robotics develops low-cost, therapeutic, educational, fun robot kits, with an emphasis on community support.

Borne out of the Quality of Life Technology Center in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon, Origami was formed after winning the Robo World competition for the Romibo robot project, a do-it-yourself robot that children and adults can build and program at home or in community workshops.
