The OEF Next Generation Learning Project was developed in collaboration with experts from Carnegie Mellon University, and is being evaluated in a three-week Design Workshop by 23 high school students from 10 Pittsburgh schools.
Since its inception, the Foundation has focused on supporting primary school students. In 2014, we expanded the work to include 1,000 high school students in 10 schools in Tanzania with the Opportunity Tablet Program, delivering a range of educational materials on Android tablets.
Building on the Tablet Program, the Foundation is now launching the OEF Next Generation Learning Project, bringing active learning to students and teachers around the globe, delivered on mobile devices and built with open-source learning materials that anyone can create and publish.
We enable children around the globe to gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. Our work is focused on supporting the education of children in developing countries.
