Maker Faire Pittsburgh is looking for a wide variety of eclectic, diverse and forward-thinking projects and ideas that highlight the DIY and tinkerer spirit. We welcome individuals, community groups, small companies and startups, and encourage workshops, talks, parades, music and more!

It is free for everyone to apply to be part of Maker Faire Pittsburgh.
There is no fee for individuals or community groups to exhibit at Maker Faire Pittsburgh. There is a $150 fee for individuals, small companies and startups to sell products you make at the event. Established companies are encouraged to sponsor Maker Faire Pittsburgh which includes significant sponsor benefits.

Vendors: Please register as a maker and choose Vendor as one of your Exhibit Categories.
Step 1: Register as a Maker on this Maker Faire Pittsburgh website. Note, th eold “Call For Makers” system has been replaced with new features directly on this site. You will need to create a new account.
Step 2: Create a Maker Profile on the Maker Dashboard under the My Account menu. Note: This page is only available once you have registered, been verified and logged in.
Step 3: Create an Exhibit Proposal attached to your Maker Profile. Please note that exhibits are approved by a curation process in several rounds, and are not approved based on submission date order. We will notify you about your proposal as we complete approval rounds. The status of your exhibit proposal is visible on the Maker Dashboard.
Round 1 Application Deadline: August 1, 2017 Maker Faire Pittsburgh encourages everyone who can submit a proposal to do so, and they’re happy to provide you with feedback on whatever you have by the Round 1 deadline even if you need more time to work on it.
Round 2 Application Deadline: Sept 23, 2017
Don’t wait until the last minute. The application asks for a lot of information and may require discussion with Maker Faire Staff. A limited number of projects will continue to be accepted into September – apply early for your best chance at being part of the Faire.
