Chevron Leaders in the Classroom is a community program that recognizes local teachers throughout the Steelers football season for demonstrating exemplary leadership and instructional skills.

Heroes who are making a significant difference in the lives of students across the region are selected based on their ability to provide engaging instruction and curriculum, encourage lifelong learning, and inspire passion for education beyond the classroom and into the future.

This program will honor 16 pre-K to high school teachers from southwest Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia during the season. Recognition will take place in their schools and on-field during Steelers home games. Heroes will also receive a donation from Chevron and the Grable Foundation to be used for classroom supplies.

  • Worldly: Assists students in understanding that academic concepts are all around us and linking those with real-world lessons to make connections between school, community, and work.
