Citizen Science Lab

Join the Citizen Science Lab for the 2nd annual STEAMabration, a celebration of all things STEAM!

STEAMabration is a collaborative effort between The Citizen Science Lab, Urban Innovation21 and Duquesne University. At this free event, families and children of all ages can experience Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.

The Citizen Science Lab is a hands-on laboratory where inquisitive minds and science-enthusiasts can explore the life sciences! The Citizen Science Lab is open to everyone—from middle and high school students, to parents and educators, to undergraduate and graduate students, to professionals and DIY scientists. The citizens of Pittsburgh are invited to observe, experiment and analyze through discovery-based learning and STEM education.

Last year’s participants included: Digital Corps, TechShop, Sisters e S.T.E.A.M., Animal Rescue League, Pitt Tissue Engineering Camp, Steel City LUG (Lego User Group), and Carnegie Science Center Mobile FabLab.
