Learn to use the Finch Robot to teach block-based programming to middle and high schoolers

This Finch Robot training is for middle school and high school educators.

In 2-3 hours of hands-on training, you will learn about sensors and more advanced programming concepts in a block-based programming language (Scratch/Snap!).  You will have plenty of independent time to practice/play with Finch activities — or to design your own. You will be allowed to move at your own pace.  In addition, we will discuss integrating the Finch into AP CS Principles and other programming languages (in particular, Java and Javascript).

Training to be led by Bambi Brewer, Curriculum Development Manager & Resident Maker, BirdBrain Technologies.

Lunch included! Eligible for ACT 48 credits.
