Join the World Affairs Council for a two-day seminar and get the training and resources you need to help your students understand today’s ever-changing global realities.

The Summer Institute for Teachers is an annual professional development seminar for teachers held by the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh in collaboration with Duquesne University. During the Institute, teachers will have the opportunity to update their content knowledge, access resources to help prepare students for their futures, and design innovative lesson plans and curricula.

Continuing professional education credit is available through the Allegheny Intermediate Unit (pending approval by the Pennsylvania Department of Education). Graduate credit is also available through Duquesne University’s School of Education.

$40 registration fee includes breakfast and lunch on both days.
