Assemble Spring Break Day Camps: Game Design

Build your own video game!

Interested in computer science? Programming? Game design? Then join Assemble for Game Design Camp! Students will learn to build a virtual game using Scratch programming language. Scratch is a free programming language and online community where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations. Scratch is an excellent introduction to video game design and programming. This camp is great for beginner programmers, storytellers and kids who enjoy playing video games. Learn how to build your own video games with the guidance of Assemble staff. Campers will receive: Scratch login to continue games beyond camp!

Thursday, April 13 (ages 6-8)
Friday, April 14 (ages 9-11)
Assemble Day Camps run from 9am-4pm.

Cost
Each day camp costs $50*. Pre-camp and post-camp care are available for an additional fee of $10. Pre-care is 8-9am, Post-care is 4-6pm.
Interested families can reserve a spot for their child through eventbrite or by calling 412-661-6111

*The $50 fee for campers from our home neighborhood will be waived. Children and tweens who reside in Garfield are invited to join us for free. If you need a scholarship, please email Nina@assemblepgh.org. Assemble’s scholarships are “Pay-what-you-can.”
