Antelope Film Festival
Antelope Film Festival

Applications open to students!

The Antelope Film Festival is an annual event held in partnership between Avonworth High School and Pittsburgh Filmmakers Youth Media. The festival was created in 2010 with funding from a STEAM Grant through the Grable Foundation to provide a creative outlet for students to create original films in animation, documentary, and narrative genres.

Films cannot include any copyrighted material and cannot be longer than five minutes. The festival is open to schools in Allegheny and Butler Counties. Entries are judged by professionals in the film industry, and trophies and prizes are given to the top films in each category and to the overall film (The Golden Antelope).

Apply by April 7, 2017.

The Antelope Film Festival Awards/Screening Night is May 22, 2017, Melwood Screening Room (at Pittsburgh Filmmakers)
