Spend your summer making Making special for kids across Pittsburgh and learn leadership and making skills that will help you in your own life as well.
Join a national community of maker educators. Collaborate during a five-week Spring Development Camp while tinkering and creating with tools and materials provided in a Possibility BOX. Pioneer new projects and new ways of providing creative, imaginative making opportunities.
If you’re accepted as a Maker Corps Member, you’ll be employed at one of three host sites–Millvale Community Library, assemble or Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh–for the summer to engage children and families in creative projects that develop problem solving skills, while gaining experience serving as a community leader. You’ll join a select community training with peers in online, interactive Spring Development Camps, making, inventing and collaborating, and will receive a PossibilityBOX full of materials, tools, surprises and other cool stuff to spark exploration and experimentation.
If you’re interested in becoming part of the Maker Corps for this summer, apply by March 21st.
